Hey All,
I'm banned for one more day for the AngelWing thing but I will be back tomorrow! Just letting ya all know! No worries though...I'm in Michigan with all the booty finally exposed in this warm weather ;)

The angelwing thread with me and Faibs...apparantly..even though I watched my tone and didn't really break any rules, me "contributing" was enough to warrant it...I'm not complaining though. What needed to be done was done!

At first I wasn't going to be banned...as the moderator stated, I "walked the line"..but greater powers, from what I can tell, overrode that decision....I knew I was walking it but apparantly I crossed it. In any event, it was worth it!

I didn't get it deleted...the majority of the mods wanted it...I'll leave it at that. AngelWing is perma as far as I know.

wait, angelwing is permabanned? woah....i apparently missed something. that's what i get for not visiting the far side very often (assuming that's where it happened).

I am completely lost, but that's nothing new. haha:confused:

I definitely missed something, but searching angelwing's username on google for hofo brings a few of his posts from the thread that I guess everyone's talking about.. I guess.. or not

why the hell is Howard so aggressive about banning the fuck out of everyone? It's like he doesn't want the traffic, doesn't want the discussion, doesn't want the passionate people there. He just wants low-key tech-support where people carefully compare the merits of one phone to another in hushed tones.

In another couple of years, there will be more modern and prescient alternatives to the Forum model. I swear that Howard will be kicking himself for just throwing away traffic like that.
