Good luck with that, should be easy to get rid of it this time of year, but I guess out there anytime of year is good.

yea, plus gas prices are making bikes really popular.

i got it listed for 7k, but i spent almost 5k in upgrades (alarm, pipe, stands, HID)

I know mines been a lot more popular with my wallet at the pump, whoda thought a Harley for an eco friendly economy vehicle. I know what you mean about the add ons, lucky to break a little less than you put in.
Whatcha gonna get?

i'm eyeing a v star 1100 for now. they make 3 versions, i prefer the custom, but i'd buy either of them and just change what i wanted :P

Ahh, a motorcycle thread... now we're talking!

I was the proud owner of a '99 Katana... until I had an accident a few years ago.

It was a sweet looking bike - I had redone the paint job to something that suited my tastes - one side was black with red Ice Pearl crystals, the other side wass black with orange Ice Pearl crystals, and the two halves were separated by tribal designs hand-drawn by my brother.

Damn I miss that bike...

i have a few questions about motorcycles, more importantly insurance and such. I'm seriously looking at a bike now and finally have enough funds and such to get one, along with insurance and taking care of it. my question(s) is this

who do you have insurance with?
what kind of coverage do you have?

i have never bought car/motorcycle insurance before. Even though I have insurance on my car my dad just tacked it on to his policy so I'm not real sure what I need or anything like. I'm just looking for a little help here. Can you give me some advice?

I dunno where you live, but basically I have to insure my bike for the whole year since I don't own it outright. (If you own your bike you can usually just insure it during the warm months).

I have insurance through progressive for my bike. I have 250 deductible, state required coverage, $3000 in accessory/upgrade coverage, and 24/7 roadside assistance. Total cost is $200 per year. Not too expensive. I've asked around at work and most people agree that progressive is best for bikes. I like the deal but I can't say if that's the best deal as I only called them.
