Vespa or Moped ... need a license?

Hi,

I am planning to get a vespa or moped to save one gas and only drive my car when only in need of it to save more fuel. Also, driving a small car/bike it's easier for me to park and can easily park it on the sidewalk (when there is enough room).

So, my question is if i get a vespa, maybe a moped ... do one on then need a license?

Thats true Zombie, But with a moped it is a different class of motorcycle license which is easier to get than a normal motorcycle license and Moped insurance only costs me about a $150.00 per year compared to who knows how much for a Vespa. By the way I have a low mileage moped for sale if you or anyone else is interested. :)
