So last night was the event An Evening with S60, and it took place right here in my home town!
i registered for it, and sure enough when i got there they had my own little name tag with a smily face!
the people from Nokia and the industry as a whole that were there, are a class act.
nicest people i have ever met. friendly, insightful, smart, and love to booze it up.
The Symbian Guru was there too! he was running around all over the place but i was lucky enough to get some face time with him and let him know i follow his blog and to thank him for the invite!
The guys from iunlock.com were also there, i met them b4 when i got a couple of iphones unlocked from them so i hung out with them most of the night.. to my surprise i got a job offer to work with them! can you belive it!
so many good things happened last night that i feel that it was a dream.
i got to put my grubby hands on the n78 and the n96 and the n95 1-2-3-4
i tried out a bluetooth hand held joystick from the guys at zeemote, that brings cellphone gaming to the next level.
i also got a goodie bag from S60 that includes pens, paper pads, candy, keychain, 2 tshirts, and a few other goodies.
the party was off the hook! open bar, appetizers all over the place, great atmosphere, awesome lounge location right in the north end section of Boston which is very trendy and uppity, and best of all it was all free!
anyways i just wanted to share my good time last night with my slowfo peoples. i wish you guys could have been there.
