I've had a couple of these, and I'm thinking about picking up Blackbook soon.

I'm just a little wary, because I've had so many problems with them in the past. I'm just hoping that Apple has worked through some of the kinks, since the last time I bought one.

All flaws aside, the Macbook is probably my favorite computer that I've ever owned. They're great little computers, when they're working right.

13" MacBook (standard stock, nothing special in it)

then a 24" iMac with a 500G hard drive, 4G of RAM, and a 2.8 GHz processor.

(imac running leopard and macbook running tiger)

Then we have a cheap compaq notebook that we just keep for the girlfriend to play the sims 2 on and in case we ever really need a windows based pc. I believe it's a compaq presario c300

I have like 16 computers, way too much to list right now. I am only using one (not the fastest one) Its a 3.0Ghz Pentium 4. More details on it if you want, its a few years old and nothing too special.

ALL of them are Intel processors and run XP Pro or Home EXCEPT Two are AMD processors and run Vista. All of them are desktops except 4 of them.

I updated frequently...

Used some for a game...

Used others for hosting CS servers...

And my website at one point...

But they are all collecting dust right now. I am considering selling 2 of the new ones that I didn't even use yet (Both AMD HP's w/ Vista).

I just traded up from my Eee Pc to an HP Mini-Note 2133. The specs are nothing to write home about, but overall it's a pretty amazing little machine. Here are the main specs:

Via 1.2GHz C7m
1GB DDR2 PC5400 RAM
120GB 5400 rpm HD
8.9" WXGA 1280 X 768 (it's a shitload of pixels jammed into that space)
0.04 x 6.5 x 1.05 in
2.8Lb

The machine is encased in aluminum and has a, nearly, full sized keyboard. It's solid as hell, and a true beauty of a machine. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something to lug around daily.

I bought it mainly as a go everywhere photo processing machine. I run gimp/ufraw and Nikon Capture NX on it. I still need to load Autostitch on it. Music, movies and internet terminal are added bonuses.

That HP mini-note looks really slick!
