Have you seen or used any interesting religious tech?

I've recently been fascinated with mantra or "Buddha" boxes... (Example: http://slumsofshaolin.blogspot.com/2007/04/buddha-box.html ) They're basically a speaker & short recorded chant run on batteries shoved in plastic. A fewer of the "high end" ones feature 3-5 different looped chants. Imported, they run $5-10 + shipping... The theory behind them is they either help you focus, or you can turn it on & leave for the day, while the "box" recites for you. A more modern version is the FM3 "Buddha Box" which has ambient loops instead of the usual chanting ( http://www.fm3buddhamachine.com/ ).

Surprising Bigd. While I wouldn't use it very often, certainly would be handy sometimes.

Not that I would ever read it anyway, but I'd think it would be more handy on a cellphone.

I hardly ever have my iPod with me. I never go anywhere without my phone.

Well, I bring my iPod with me everywhere, cuz i have the touch, which is thin as no other, so I can read my bible during school, church, riding the bus or whatever. But I could get it on my phone if i wanted.
