Thought this would be a good topic.
Well for me im a bit blown that my team (Wizards) were eliminated last night. Who am i kidding, im effing pissed that it happened. But hey, to the Atlanta Hawk fans, congrats on forcing game seven.
Who do you guys think will be going to the championships? The eastern conference doesnt seem too clear anymore.

I didn't get to see the last Washington Cleveland game (die hard cavs fan) but i am glad they won.
I'm hoping last years flop by the cavs will help them out this year. They've been there, got some experience(if you wanna call it that) and hopefully wont fall apart if they get there again this year.
When they won the final game last year to make it to the finals, Cleveland went nuts. I was there, and i was in Awe the entire time. People EVERYWHERE! it was really an eye opening experience, I have literally never seen so many people!

Your right. Stevenson shouldnt have talked trash about Lebron.
Iam still amazed at how good Lebron is. EVen though i hate i have to admit hes blessed with GREAT skill. Pushes the ball like 1 but has the strength of a 3. Hes bound to do great things lol

On the West, I believe it will be the victor of the the San Antonio & New Orleans series. On the East, I'll go with Boston if they play their scrappy defense every night.

tight, i go to U of A as well. Freakin finals week though. Oh well. Born n raised in akron (although in the suburbs close to cuyahoga falls), but i work at the At&t kiosk in summit mall, and have seen lebron there probably 3-4 times since december shopping with his girl and body guard.

I agree on the East, though I think the Lakers have a good shot in the West. It would be awesome to have a Lakers/Celtics Finals.

With LA beating Utah in their first game of the second round, it gives them a little more credit to being a contender for the championship, because some regard the Lakers as an offense only team. Yup, it would be great to have a LA vs Boston finals to bring back some good memories. That and it would help ratings.

Utah fans are pathetic. They get all pissy and bitchy when the lakers win and say the refs are cheating. But then the lakers walk into Utah and get shoved around (Ronny Turiaf getting bounced over body contact) ..they call that reasonable.

Whichever team gets in from the West is going to win the title. It doesn't matter who they play.
Frankly, at this point, I'd be surprised if the Celtics even make it to the Finals. Detroit may make them look like chumps.
I think we'll be looking at an LA/Detroit Finals. LA takes it in 6.

Not that surprising for the Spurs. They have struggled on the road this season. This could play out very similar to the New Orleans series.

Kobe is an overrated ball hog. I'd rather him score 10 points in a game, and actually help his team win, rather than score 60 and lose.

The best player in basketball hands down. When you can sit on the bench and come off in the 4th from being down 20 to win the game..it shows how clutch he is.
I think a lot of people mistaken Kobes confidence for arrogance.
