Indeed.

not having a custom avatar was driving me batshit.

And not being able to swear. I swear all the time when I'm online. I don't even realize I'm doing it 90% of the time.

Since the forum is still new, I wouldn't speak too soon on the "features" front. If the forum gets large enough a similar premium member system could be put into place here as well. Hofo wasn't always covered in adds the way it is now.

an avatar can be had for a small fee.
supporting hofo is not bad.

It's pretty nice, there's always something going on, where the random game thread on hofo would be closed in the lounge in .125 seconds, while here everyone embraces it!
