And for nothing!! Not sure if Mr. Bond got banned too, but All we did was advertise SlowFo a little bit in the Lounge on HoFO and along comes his Kingliness wielding Thors hammer like a fucking powermad hammer wielder lol!!
Fuck man, and talk about powertripping, banning people for no reason! It's not like we hit every subforum on HoFo, only a few posts in the Lounge.
Some of you may have noticed that this isn't the first time bullshit like this has happened, maybe we should start with a petition or something along those lines!
In the meantime, I agree with my fellow mod that swung the hammer that a little payback is well in order, since he doesn't want to answer questions in the HoFo banned forum or to come on over here and explain his awful moderating conduct!

Perhaps there was a campaign to PM members of Hofo in the Lounge to let them know of what's going on? Aurora can't ban members for PMs between one another right?

These guys were banned for a freakin' day. It's not the end of the world.

The fact that they are longtime members, obviously, was taken into account. People have gotten premabans for doing less than this. If I had done what these guys did, I'd probably be gone for good.

Judging by peoples responses it appears that both you & WorldlRC were much greater offenders @ HoFo than l & deserve a much longer ban than l received for only posting 2 threads 12 hours apart!
l take offence that Aurora (assumed) banned me as did he you for only one day whereas you & World should have been banned for a week!

Apparently it was not sarcastic at all but actually serious -- like I was trying to incite people to always start a new thread instead of searching for the info they wanted.

I got scolded by a pissed off "Moderator Robot 7" or whatever, saying that apparently nobody anywhere thought my signature was ironic.

What he doesn't get is that the irony part is his moderating, or total lack thereof! In 3 or 4 weeks we've had 40+ threads about one single phone that came to TELUS. We have threads that stay on topic for about 4 posts and then become 6 pages of Family Guy vs. Simpsons debate. He doesn't care, doesn't read the threads apparently, and just sits in his Mom's basement waiting for someone to click the "report post" button.

That's part of why the Telus community is empty -- all the former contributors left or got banned because it's a waste of time there. Oh well, I guess Howard's goal isn't traffic or pageviews or building a nice community.
