I disagree, I find lots of intelligent people on forums. Way more than I meet in real life. I just know when to leave an arguement alone.

It all depends on how strict this forum is going to be. A political forum is obviously going to be a heated area at times, but it serves a purpose and will definitely have some interesting discussions in it.

I don't have an issue in this area. I can walk away, or just not throw my hat in to begin with.

It's the nastiness that usually accompanies these threads that bugs me. People have a tendency to resort to things like name calling.

I agree.Usually Religion & Politics are like minefields,either in forums or in real-life conversations.But I figured since we already opened the barn door with a Religion Sub-Forum.....what could happen.........:eek:
