I'm sure at some point the religion forum will have disagreements and differences of opinions. That is fully acceptable, especially in regards to such a topic as one's beliefs. However, that isn't an excuse to not remain respectful towards your fellow SlowFo members.

We're all united as living beings on this rock we call Earth, keep that in mind!

Is respect warranted for a belief? IMO, no respect is earned. I will be nice though I might disagree with the claim.

I think he meant be respectful of other people and their beliefs in the sense that you should just flame someone because he is a <insert religion>. Of course it doesn't mean you have to subscribe to what they believe. You make a good point, that not all "religion" deserves respect as having some truth, but all people here deserve to be treated respectfully.
