What's your religion? Are you practicing? Were you raised this?

(About the poll: I wanted to included as many of the major categorized religions as possible but the poll is only limited to 10 entries...so if your belief is not there, feel free to pick "other" and post about it. The top entries were grouped according to number of practitioners world-wide)

(Judaism: I didn't forget about you...it hit me right after posting the poll. If a mod wants to edit the poll and switch out "Primal Indigenous" for "Judaism" I would be grateful)

I'm not sure if it would fall under Secular/Atheist, or Other. But I am Agnostic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agnosticism).

Independent Baptist. When we were kids we went to some Baptist churches, but I was away for a long time. Then I got saved at 18 and now yes, you could say I practice..

Wouldn't "Non-religious and not spiritual" = "Secular/Atheist" ?

Non-religious/non-spiritual is more of a "no view" opinion and has no doctrine. Secular/Atheist is a firm belief in a lack of a higher being which is a doctrine.

I was raised a Catholic and I come from a really strict Catholic but I don't really believe in organized religion, I consider it a dangerous affair. I do however believe in one God, the creator and heaven/hell along with a few other aspects of organized religious belief

I mostly agree. I am non-religious/non-spiritual or just other, but I do have views, I just don't prescribe to any doctrine. I do agree that when I tell people that I am not religious or don't worship or accept any deity, they automatically assume that I am Atheist or Secular, when those are actual belief systems with a strong following and a doctrine. My religious views are consistent with my political views. I am independent. I listen to all ideas, but I don't worship, prescribe, or accept any fully. I try to understand each and those with which I agree I follow that principle, but not as a practice.

"The package has been delivered"...

Actually that was the code used by NYPD when the Pope was moving throughout NYC.

As pointed out in my "Any LaVeyan Satanists out there?", I am a LaVeyan Satanist. Despite the name, it has nothing to do with he misguided inversion of Xtianity called devil-worshipping.

I grew up in a protestant home and went to presbyterian schools but have thrown off the oppressive chains of religion which enslave the minds of billions. I'm not better, I'm just lonelier. As for morals, I'm an epicurean believing that the things that will make me happy are freedom, friends, and food. I experience life in the fullest using all of my life to experience the knowledge, passion, natural wonder, and culture of our society.
